Mukambi Safari Lodge is located 265km down the Lusaka-Mongu road. From Lusaka you take the road to Mongu and approximately after 185km you will reach Nalusanga gate, the eastern gate of Kafue National Park. After the gate you continue for 80km where you reach the sign of Mukambi Safari Lodge at the left hand side. Turn off and follow the good gravel road for 2,4km. There Mukambi Safari Lodge is waiting for you.

The Lusaka-Mongu road is very good tarmac since most of the road has been totally redone in 2004. Also the gravel road to the lodge is in very good condition. Therefore Mukambi Safari Lodge is open all year round and is perfectly accessible, also with a saloon car.
